Blazing Hot Red Day!

Hey Panda Pals!

The Harvest Festival is going strong! The Scarecrow at Harvest Grove has some super Harvest Fest prizes for you. Just collect the caramel apples you see around Pandanda, then trade them for the prizes!

If you have pet dragons, you will want to make sure to get the Dragon House to put in your treehouse. You can even get more than one, if you want (and if you collect enough apples!)

In case you haven't heard, the clothing catalog was updated on Sunday with some end-of-summer items. Summer is winding down, and the weather will be turning cooler soon, so take advantage of the hot summer Pandanda days to show off some new warm-weather fashions!

Speaking of hot, I've decided that Thursday is Blazing Hot Red Day! Go through your closet and put on your red Panda Paint, and all of the red clothes and accessories you can find. Then get together with all of your friends and raise the temperature with all of that red-hot redness!

If you take a cool picture of the fiery fun, send them to me at screenshots@pandanda.com with RED DAY in the subject line. I'll choose some of the reddest to feature on my Blog!

Get Ready for Free Elite Member Day!

Hey there, friends! It is almost time for Free Elite Member Day. That's right, this Saturday, August 25th, everyone who logs into Pandanda will get to enjoy Elite Member benefits for one whole day**

So, what can you do on Free Elite Member Day? You can head to the Clothing Co. on East Market Street, and spend your coins on anything in the catalog. You can decorate your tree house with furniture from the House & Tree catalog, then unlock your tree to have your friends over for a fashion show or party.

If you've always wanted a dragon for a pet, you can buy yourself a dragon egg from Izzy at the Pet Shop on West Market Street. After just six days, the egg will hatch into your very own dragon! And if you have reached a high enough Quest Level, you can even buy a Horse Companion from Questy!

You can earn coins for shopping by collecting fruits, veggies, coconuts, mushrooms, gemstones, and recyclables, then selling them to the vendors around Pandanda. You can also catch fish and sell them to Fishy Joe. You can even earn coins by completing Quests!

Free Elite Member Day is for one day only, starting this Saturday at 12:01am PST and ending Saturday at 11:59pm PST, so mark your calendars! And don't forget - the Harvest Festival starts on Friday!

**Non-Elite pandas will get to keep all the Elite items purchased Saturday but will not be able to use them after Saturday without an Elite Membership )except on future Free Elite Member Days). Questy’s Horse Companions are Elite items. Dragon eggs will remain in your tree house, and will hatch later in the week.

Big fun Next Friday!

It's almost here, it's almost here!!! What am I so excited about? Well, the Pandanda Harvest Festival, of course! It begins this Friday, August 24th and goes until Monday, September 10th.

During the Harvest Festival, Pandanda will start to look and feel a bit like my favorite season of the year - Autumn. The leaves will be turning gold, and the Pandanda citizens will decorate with scarecrows, bales of hay, and banners. There will even be an outdoor dance floor set up at East Market Street, just right for some dancing with your friends!

And let's not forget the most fun part of Harvest Fest - collecting Caramel Apples to trade for exciting Harvest Fest Prizes! You can collect Caramel Apples all over Pandanda (except in treehouses), then visit Scarecrow at Harvest Grove to trade your apples for his prizes.

Pssst......here's a bit of news that I know everyone has been anxious to hear - there will be a Clothing Catalog update sometime this weekend! Get ready to go shopping!

Big fun Next weekend!

Hi Friends!

I know a lot of you have either already started back to school, or you soon will be. I hope you all will have a wonderful school year, and will learn lots of new things that you can use for the rest of your life!

I wanted to make sure everyone has marked their calendars for two exciting events next week. On Friday the 24th, the annual Pandanda Harvest Festival begins! The temperatures in Pandanda land will start to cool off, and the beautiful colors of autumn will be seen all over the island (well, except for Coconut Beach - it's always tropical there!) You will start to see yummy caramel apples appear on the ground, but don't eat them! You'll want to collect them to trade for exclusive Harvest Festival prizes!

On the the very next day, Saturday the 25th, another fabulous Free Elite Member Day is planned! Free Elite Member Day (or as we like to call it around here, FEMD) is a day where everyone who logs in has full access to Pandanda's Elite Membership features for that day. You can buy anything you want from the catalogs, decorate your treehouse and have friends over, and even adopt a pet dragon from the Pet Shop.

It's gonna be fun!

New Pandanda Forums on Toontask!

Hey Panda Pals!

I’ve got some cool news for you! There is now a special Pandanda Forum on the Toontask.com site! You can check it out by clicking here. You can also find it listed in the Blogroll.

You will need to make an account for yourself on Toontask.com before you can post in the Pandanda forums. You can use your Pandanda name if it is available, but make sure that you do not use your Pandanda password.

After you log in, you can even change the theme of the whole Toontask site to Pandanda! Just scroll down to the very bottom of the forum page and look for Change Theme in the left corner.

Once you have registered, make sure to add your panda to the database. You can find it in the top menu of the blog, where it says Characters. You can include your Quest Level and the number of Quests you have completed. You can use the database to search for other members of the forum. That’s a really cool feature of the forum!

Of course, make sure you read the Policies and Guidelines and Posting Rules for the forum. The ToonTask.com site and forums are geared towards young children so, just like on Pandanda, all content posted on the site must be appropriate for young children, even if you are older!

I will be making an account there very soon, and so will a Moderator or two. I hope to see lots of my friends on the Toontask Pandanda Forums!

Wacky Wednesday Tomorrow!

So far this year, we have had a Winter Wacky Wednesday and a Spring Wacky Wednesday. I think it is absolutely time for a Summer Wacky Wednesday!

What is Wacky Wednesday? It's the day to wear your craziest, weirdest, wackiest clothes! Mix and match items from your closet until you have the most outrageous outfit you can find. Then get together with your friends and have a Wacky Fashion Show at the Purple Door or your treehouse. Maybe you can even make up some wacky new words!

If you take a picture of you and your friends being wonderfully wacky, send the picture to me at screenshots@pandanda.com. Put WACKY in the subject line, and make sure to include your panda name. I will choose some pictures to feature in my Blog.

Make sure to mark your calendars for two super events coming up this month. Free Elite Member Day is on Saturday the 25th, and the Harvest Festival begins on Friday the 24th. I can't wait!

Farewell Zing!

Farewell Zing!

Zing Ballyhoo has packed up his suitcases and is preparing to leave Pandanda for another of his journeys. He loves his visits to Pandanda, but he is a traveling panda at heart. He really enjoys scouring the globe for cool new prizes to give when he returns to Pandanda!

There are only a few hours left to get Zing's final prize. Just visit him at Treehouse Lobby to trade your 10 Golden Tickets to him for his prize. Once he leaves, you won't be able to get the prize, so don't wait!

Ancient Games Day Pictures

Hi Friends!

I sure had a great time with you all on Ancient Games Day over the weekend. It was really cool seeing so many of you in your togas, running all over Pandanda competing in different games. I hope you all earned lots of Pandanda Coins for your efforts!

The Mods and I awarded Panda Gold to over 300 different pandas during Ancient Games Day on Saturday for special Bunny Chase and Ghosts of Misty Hill games. I love it when everyone is playing and cooperating! It makes the games so much more fun!

Ancient Game Day+Panda Gold=Awesome!

I've got my toga, laurel wreath, and torch all ready to go for Ancient Game Day on Saturday. If you didn't get a toga during Summer Festival, just head over to the Clothing Co. on East Market Street. There are two brand new togas in the clothing catalog! Even if you have your Summer Fest togas, I bet you'll want the new colors.

You can win double coins in all multiplayer games all day on Saturday, but games for Panda Gold are scheduled for certain hours. And only games that a Moderator is hosting will be for Panda Gold. You will be able to find Panda Gold games going on during the following hours:

• 12-1am Pandanda Time - I'll be visiting during this Opening Hour of Game Day!
  
• 5-8am Pandanda Time - You can look for me from 5-7am PT.
  
• 9am-12pm Pandanda Time
  
• 1-3pm Pandanda Time - I'll be hosting Panda Gold games from 1-2pm PT.
  
• 4-7pm Pandanda Time

During those hours listed above that I am not in Pandanda, you can look for a marvelous Moderator! Mods Gemmza, Maxxwell, Sammiee, and Skippers will be hosting as many games as they can fit into their shifts. Remember, you can win one time from each Moderator, and one time from me. So that means you have the chance to win Panda Gold up to 5 times!

We will be playing Bunny Chase and Ghosts of Misty Hill in all of the servers, so if you can't get into a room where a game is being played, just go wait in the location with the other game, or even in another server. Once we've played one round of a game, we will move on to the next game for one round. After we've played both Bunnies and Ghosts in one server, we will move to another server.

It is going to be an awesome day! Put on your ancient Greek toga and get ready for some fun!

Ancient Game Day

Wow, the excitement is really building all over the world for the start of the summer games in London on Friday. And in Pandanda Land, the excitement is building for our special twist on Game Day this Saturday - Ancient Game Day!

Let's all wear our togas from the Summer Festival and pretend we are back in Ancient Greece, the birthplace of the Olympics. The laurel wreath is a traditional symbol of champions, so be sure to wear that, too, if you have one. And for the finishing touch you can carry the torch (or maybe one of the 4th of July sparklers!)

If you have never been to a Pandanda Game Day, you are in for an awesome time! On Saturday, every multiplayer game will award double Coins . That means every time you play Pen the Pig, Line 4, Ghosts of Misty Hill, and Bunny Chase, you will receive twice as many Pandanda Coins as you usually do. You can play those games as many times as you want because there is no limit to the number of Pandanda Coins you can win!

You will also want to keep a sharp look-out for the Moderators and me at Misty Hill and Darby Field for your chance to win Panda Gold in special games of Bunny Chase and Ghosts of Misty Hill. We will host as many games as we can, trying to give as many pandas as possible to chance to win Panda Gold. Instead of awarding 25 Gold for 1st place and 10 Gold for 2nd place like we usually do, we will award 250 Gold to 1st place and 100 Gold to 2nd place!

Saturday is going to be a spectacular day! I can't wait!

Pandanda Welcomes Zing!

Zing Ballyhoo is back in Pandanda! His gold and blue tent was delayed, but it finally arrived and has been set up. That didn't stop Zing from hiding his Golden Tickets all over Pandanda!

I see lots of you have already collected and traded 10 Golden Tickets to Zing for his first prize. He seems to be in a sporting mood. I bet you can guess what he was inspired by!

Lucky Friday the 13th Elite Winners!

Friday the 13th is over, and there won't be another one this year. Sheriff Steele and I made it a lucky day for lots of pandas who received surprise treats of 25 Panda Gold. We gave out Panda Gold to so many pandas that I didn't even try to count! Were you one of them?

13 extra-lucky pandas were chosen at random yesterday to win 1-month Elite Membership Gift Certificates. Congratulations to 1Snow1, Conggo, edgircrv, Lalence, Mintzie, PANDEDUDE, PinkStiletto, Ralucacristi, RooniePanda7, Slayker, Suveka3172, v1214, and ZAGU. Each of those players had a 1-month Elite Gift Certificate sent to the email address that their account is registered to.

I was amazed to see all of the different parts of the world where those winners live. See if you can find all of these countries on a map: Argentina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Latvia, New Zealand, Peru, Romania, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America. Pandanda covers the globe!

Friday the 13th - Your Lucky Day?

The last Friday the 13th of the year has arrived, and it's going to be a GREAT day! Nothing to be afraid of, here! Lucky Friday the 13th will be starting soon, with a chance for 13 pandas to win a 1-month Elite Membership Gift Certificate. Remember, all you have to do to have a chance to win is to play Pandanda. How easy is that? Winners will be announced in my blog on Saturday.

Zing Ballyhoo will be returning to Pandanda on Monday with his Golden Tickets and special prizes. I wonder what kind of items he found for us during his travels? We'll all just have to wait until Monday to find out!

Friday the 13th, Part 3!

Did you know that this year has three Friday the 13ths in it? We've already made it through the ones in January and April, and now it's time for the third and, thankfully, the last one of the year! And here's something really cool that I just found out - each of the Friday the 13ths this year are exactly 13 weeks apart!

Here in Pandanda, we don't believe in bad luck. So just like I did in January and April, I am going to make Friday the 13th a very lucky day for some pandas! I am going to award a one-month Elite Membership Gift Certificates to 13 - yes, 13 - random pandas who log into Pandanda between 12am and 11:59pm Pandanda Time this Friday (the 13th). All you have to do to have a chance to win is just play Pandanda! I will announce the names of the winners on Saturday.

In case that isn't enough lucky stuff happening on Friday the 13th, Sheriff Steele and I will make it even LUCKIER with some surprise visits to give out Panda Gold. It's going to be a super awesome day!

July Celebraton Ends Today!

Hi Friends!

I hope you have enjoyed the July Celebration this week. Tonight will be your last night to enjoy the fireworks in Pandanda's night skies - at least until the next July Celebration! But you can have your own personal fireworks any time you want, as long as you have gotten the free sparkler from the Clothing Co. on East Market Street. If you don't have it yet, make sure to pick it up today, before the July Celebration ends.

Happy 4th of July!

Today is the day that the USA celebrates Independence Day! But no matter where you live, you can enjoy the music, decorations and fireworks around Pandanda. And don't forget to pick up your free gift from the Clothing Co. on East Market Street. It is very sparkly!

I will be making some surprise random visits during the day today, and I want to see everyone dressed in their finest red, white, and blue outfits! Color the 4th Red White & Blue!

Hi Panda Pals!

I hope you are enjoying the decorations, music, and especially the fireworks of the July Celebration. Mr. McWiggles certainly is! In fact, the 4th of July is his FAVORITE holiday! You probably guessed that by the way he has decorated the Big Scoop Ice Cream shop in red, white, and blue stars and stripes.

McWiggles LOVES the 4th of July!

Make sure to drop by the Big Scoop to check out the decorations. While you are there, ask Mr. McWiggles to build you his special Red White & Blue Ice Cream Cone. One scoop of cherry, one of vanilla, and one of blueberry. And if you really like ice cream, get two scoops of each!

The fireworks in the night skies are pretty awesome (especially from my favorite place, Shady Glen), but wouldn't it be cool to carry around your own personal mini-firework any time of the day? Well, now you can! Just head over to the Clothing Co. on East Market Street to pick up your free July Celebration gift from the clothing catalog.

I plan to visit Pandanda for the 4th of July tomorrow, and I want to see everyone in red, white, and blue! Use Panda Paint, clothes, shoes, hats, accessories, and whatever you have in your closet. Don't forget about your player card background! Can you be as red, white, and blue and the Big Scoop?

Summer Festival Ends Today!

You’ve still got some time to collect pineapples and trade them to Kapono before Summer Fest ends today, but hurry! Make sure to trade your pineapples to Kapono at the Fishing Hole before midnight Pandanda Time today. To be extra-sure you get your items, don't wait 'til the last minute!

Do you like fireworks? I sure do, which is why I love the July Celebration that begins tomorrow! In addition to the special decorations and music all over Pandanda Land, there will be an awesome fireworks display in the night skies of Pandanda each evening. Maybe I'll see you there!
